Meet the Board
Caleb Smith
He is the Managing Partner primary visionary behind the company’s structure and strategy for Spire Realty. Smith joined Spire in 1997. Prior to his time at Spire, Caleb worked as an independent contractor, researching, and analyzing Russia's emerging securities and other markets. Early in his career, Smith was an analyst at BDS Securities in New York City, concentrating on bankruptcies in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn. with majors in sociology and philosophy/religion. He is actively involved in charitable works including the Spire Realty Group Children and the Arts Foundation, the Ovarian Research Fund and The Wildflower Orphanage in South Korea.
Jeff Cross
A life-long learner, Jeff is passionate about encouraging both youth and adults to pursue educational endeavors which help them to attain financial stability for themselves and their families. Through his nonprofit work experience, Jeff has witnessed how additional studies can lead students to careers which provide living wages and beyond – whether pursuit of GED, post-secondary education, trade school, or specialized certificate programs. Jeff is a staff member at Northwest Bible Church, serving as Refugee Ministry Director at Northwest Community Center where he oversees programming that benefits adults and children from more than 20 countries in the Vickery Meadows neighborhood of Dallas.
