Anita Adhikari 

Anita grew up in a Nepali household where she was the only daughter. Her biggest role models are her parents. She admires their bravery and sacrifices they made of coming to this country in pursuit of better opportunities for her and her siblings. As opposed to a traditional Nepal’s household where all of the pressure is on the daughter to manage the household, Anita’s parents push her to focus on education. So they created an environment for her that allows her to put all of her focus on school. Her future goals include opening up a physical therapy clinic that is geared towards assisting immigrants. She also wants to start a family of her own, and be a catalyst for immigrants in her community to strive for excellence.
