Rapha Nsenga
When Rapha was an infant, his family emigrated from Rwanda to the United States. His father and mother worked very hard and always prioritized education and made many financial sacrifices to support him to become the best he could be. Some of Rapha’s achievements while in school were to be class president and receive two scholarships to attend private school. While in middle school, Rapha was involved in athletics and leadership positions. This helped Rapha overcome his shyness and the taunting he faced by others because of the color of his skin. Rapha went on to attend a collegiate academy and it was during this time that he began to volunteer in a non-profit organization that supports refugees. At the same time, he was earning 20+ Microsoft Industry certifications, his high school diploma and an associate degree. Rapha is now attending Abilene Christian University and aspires to work in Cybersecurity as a security analyst.
